The Guilford County Board of Education strongly encourages staff participation in the decision-making process at all levels of the school system. Recognizing that an informed staff will be better able to participate, the Superintendent shall establish procedures and structures which promote effective communication. Priority shall be given to the involvement of site-based staff at the earliest stages of the decision-making process and to the involvement of those most directly affected by the action to be taken.

In compliance with federal laws, Guilford County Schools administers all educational programs, employment activities and admissions without discrimination because of race, religion, national or ethnic origin, color, age, military service, disability or gender, except where exemption is appropriate and allowed by law.
