Approval for Naming of Northern Area Elementary School
The board approved the project team’s recommendation to name the new Northern Area Elementary School, “Northern Elementary School” and directed staff to have the appropriate signage prepared and complete documents to authorize the name’s use.

Summer Construction Update
 Joe Hill, facilities, presented to the board an update on the status of current construction projects within the district.

Update on the 2007-08 Budget
Sharon Ozment, chief finance officer, presented to the board an update on the 2007-08 budget.
