The Guilford County Board of Education held a public forum on Monday, April 30, 2007 at Penn-Griffin School of the Arts to listen to concerns and answer questions about projects to be included in a possible November 2007 bond referendum. Chairman Alan Duncan delivered opening remarks beginning at 7:05 p.m. The following Board members were present: Jeff Belton, Walter Childs, Alan Duncan, Darlene Garrett, Garth Hébert, Dot Kearns, Amos Quick, Nancy Routh and Anita Sharpe. Board members Kris Cooke and Deena Hayes were absent. Staff members present were Superintendent Terry Grier and Joe Hill, facilities.

Members of the public who were in attendance were given the opportunity to make comments and ask questions regarding proposed projects. The forum was an open dialogue between board members and members of the public. Registration to address the board was done prior to the start of the meeting.

At 7:54 p.m., with no further public comments, the forum concluded.
